Core Values
By staying true to these values we will create a positive youth atmosphere and a successful auction for years to come.
Youth come first: At the center of every decision we make, we must ask ourselves, “Is this in the best interest of the youth we serve?”
Honesty and Integrity: Youth learn by example and we must hold our board to the highest moral standards in order to be positive role models.
Committed to Improvement: We understand that change is inevitable and will be open to new ideas and ways to advance the program.
Peaceful Conflict Resolution: Conflict is part of the team process and can be solved with empathy, respect and caring.
Bolster those who need it most: We understand that not everyone begins at the same starting line and we will do what we can to help youth overcome barriers and participate in the program.
Community Recognition: This program would not be successful without the support of our community. Showing our appreciation for their contributions is imperative to maintaining an outstanding program.
Alone we are strong, together we are stronger: Cooperation between members, 4-H, FFA, Clallam County Fair and other community organizations is essential in creating and maintaining an exceptional youth livestock program.
